Grupo NOV Employees in Blood Collection Action | NOV Group

Giving a motto to the value of social responsibility that has been, more and more, one of the guiding principles of Grupo NOV, the Marketing Department promoted, among the employees of this group, a blood collection action promoted by the Portuguese Institute of Blood and Transplantation, IP (IPST, IP).

In Portugal, the calls for blood donations have been constant in view of the growing needs, even more evident at times when reserves are experiencing greater stock shortages. In addition to being an act of solidarity, giving blood helps to save lives.

The blood collection, which took place in the parish hall of Santa Catarina da Serra, Leiria, on August 12, was carried out by a mobile unit from the IPST, IP de Coimbra and was attended by several residents of the municipality, but not only.

From Grupo NOV, around 30 employees signed up for blood collection. Despite this, it was found that adherence to the initiative was much greater. Therefore, thanks to all employees who voluntarily adhered to this very important social responsibility action.
