Viamarca extends the scope of CE Marking Certification to Traffic Panels | NOV Group

Last November, Viamarca, of Grupo NOV Indústria, renewed the CE Marking Certificate in accordance with the EN 12899-1:2007 Standard for «Fixed Vertical Traffic Signals» and for «Signposts for Fixed Signals Vertical Transit”.

CE Marking Certification has been renewed at the company since 2014, ensuring compliance with the requirements established in European Union Directives, namely in regards to safety, hygiene and environmental protection.

The big news this year is obtaining, for the first time, the Certification of Traffic Signs of variable size. Viamarca decided to leverage its Certification and submitted it to CERTIF, an entity accredited by IPAC – Instituto Português de Acreditação, for the ISO/IEC 17021-1 and EN ISO/IEC 17065 standards, for the Certification of Quality, Environmental Management Systems, Safety and Health at Work, Food Safety and Vocational Training, the request for Certification of traffic panels of variable sizes that the company produces and installs on highways and major traffic routes.
