Lenobetão obtains Quality Management System Certification | NOV Group

Lenobetão, a Grupo NOV Indústria company dedicated to the production of concrete, obtained certification for its Quality Management System last December.

The evolution of organizations is a mandatory requirement for an effective response to the needs and expectations of all interested parties.

Lenobetão, a company dedicated to the production of ready-mixed concrete, took another important step towards differentiating itself in the market in which it operates.

Last december, was able to successfully complete the Certification of its Quality Management System, according to the NP EN ISO9001 standard, within the scope of “Development, Production and Supply of Ready-mixed Concrete”.

In the business sector in which Lenobetão operates, as well as its organizational context, compliance with the implementation of a management system serves more than a voluntary certification of the company. This incorporates the requirements of Decree-Law number 90/2021 (in force since december 5, 2021), which includes requirements for the specification, performance, production and conformity of concrete. With the publication of this legislation, works in classes 2 and 3 are required to have stricter control of the respective plants for the production and supply of concrete. Certification thus responded to these legal requirements.

The implemented quality management system, based on the requirements of NP EN ISO9001, is based on a cycle of continuous improvement that begins with the identification of the needs and expectations of its customers, based on which and in accordance with the strategy adopted, the management defines the quality policy and establishes the quality objectives. This work has the joint contribution of Lenobetão employees and as a collective objective, it is based on the effort and work of all, without exception. Stakeholders related to the concrete producer, namely the shared services of Grupo NOV, in the responsibilities assigned to it, also contributed to achieving this collective objective of Lenobetão.
