Grupo NOV joins ESTG in a Team Building action | NOV Group

As in previous years, the Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão (Higher School of Technology and Management), at Polytechnic of Leiria, counted with the support of BioSmart, a company belonging to Grupo NOV.

The academic community once again received BioSmart´s support for a Team Building action, the main objectives of which are to encourage teamwork, the development of soft skills, namely leadership, communication, organization and decision-making skills, and the creation of stronger ties of union between master´s students, who will be inserted in the job market in the future.

The activity, entitled “The Factory”, took place on the 21st of May, at Centro de Interpretação da Batalha de Aljubarrota, and had as its main topic the motivational action of Team Building, especially prepared for students who attend the Master´s in Management from ESTG.

The Factory - from raw material to finished product, this was the challenge faced by the students, where the objective was to develop a set of strategies in order to obtain a higher yield. Mariana Esteves, a student from the 1st year of the Master´s in Management, mentioned that “the activity was based on the purchase of raw materials for the construction of a product, taking into account the study and analysis of the market. When the product was finalized, the intention was for the teams to negotiate with each other, in order to obtain more capital.».

This initiative has been repeated given the positive impact reported by master´s students.
