Alandroal Fluvial Beach reclassified with new features | NOV Group

The requalification of the Recreational and Leisure Area of Azenhas D´El Rei – Fluvial Beach and Nautical Centre, was a contract carried out for the Municipality of Alandroal, in the municipality of Évora, by the consortium formed by NOV Pro Construções and Lena Engenharia e Construções.

Androal’s Fluvial Beach is made up of a sandy area of around 3,500 m2 and a green area of 750 m2. The project, with a total investment of around 750 thousand euros, was concluded at the end of march, and included the reconstruction of existing infrastructure and the construction of new added value and accesses.

The entire reconstruction and construction project took into account adequate access for people with reduced mobility, which did not happen before.

The space is now equipped with modular support equipment for leisure activities, attached to a terrace area; modular equipment for the medical station, changing room and storage area; sanitary facilities; walkways and access ramps, in a wooden structure, which serve as a connection between the main support equipment for the river beach itself and an anchorage for pleasure boats.

In addition to these valences, the following was also prepared: a car park with spaces for vehicles for people with reduced mobility and emergency vehicles; picnic park; waste collection system; water supply system; basic sanitation system; rainwater collection and drainage system; exterior arrangements and irrigation network; lighting, electricity and telecommunications networks.
