BioSmart manufactures equipment for Docapesca | NOV Group

BioSmart secured, through a public tender, the award of the tender for “Supply of Box Washing Machine – Fish Market of Lagos”, for DOCAPESCA, for a value of around 75 thousand euros.

The contract predicts the delivery, installation and operating tests, in less than 5 months, of equipment for washing plastic boxes, intended for the packaging, transport and sale of fish, for Lota de Lagos.

This unit will ensure the sanitation of, a maximum of, 400 boxes per hour, through independent pre-wash, hot wash and rinse modules.

According to DOCAPESCA specifications and good practices for this type of activity, the machine will be manufactured in AISI 316L stainless steel.

Previously, BioSmart supplied similar machines to fish market in Setúbal, Figueira da Foz, Matosinhos, Póvoa de Varzim and Viana do Castelo. Each of these equipments is adjusted to the number of boxes to be cleaned, the sanitation requirements and the available space, being conceived and developed by BioSmart.
