NOV Group has more than three dozen innovative projects developed

NOV Summit launches a challenge on being more cooperative to transform Leiria in the Capital of Innovation.

The NOV Group currently has 33 innovative projects developed in cooperation, 16 of which have already been completed, in the various business areas to which it is engaged; six of these projects are already on the market, and seven will be by the end of 2019. This was the balance presented by Joaquim Paulo Conceição, CEO of the NOV Group, at the first edition of the NOV Summit, which took place this Monday. This bet on innovation set the tone for the NOV Summit. Joaquim Paulo Conceição pointed out "NOV has a lot to do with our passion for innovation and has been throughout our history." This idea was also defended by António Barroca Rodrigues, chairman of the NOV Group's Board of Directors, at the beginning of the event. Invited to the opening of the NOV Summit, Gonçalo Lopes, Mayor of Leiria, pointed out that “innovation and entrepreneurship are closely associated with the Leiria region, thanks to the action of its business class, and since its earliest history. This boldness is part of the DNA of this region. '

The NOV Summit kicked off with three main roundtable panels dedicated to the themes: “The Potential for Innovation and Development in the Leiria District”; “The role of technology interfaces in the context of business innovation” and “How to encourage innovation opportunities in companies”.
