Complete provisional acceptance of the Tizi-Ouzou Hospital in Algeria

Last January 31st, the total provisional acceptance of the Oncological Treatment Center in Algeria in Tizi Ouzou took place. (CENTRE ANTI CANCER DE 140 LITS A TIZI OUZOU).

Após a entrega parcial, relativa ao serviço de radioterapia, ter ocorrido em janeiro de 2019, os trabalhos ficaram finalizados em dezembro de 2020, durante um período crítico e adverso devido ao pico da pandemia COVID-19.

After the partial delivery related to the radiotherapy service took place in January 2019, the works were completed in December 2020 during a critical and adverse period during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The contract started in February 2011 with a planned execution period of 19 months. However, the initial contract and official deadline extensions leading to the work being considered finalized, only now.

The first official visit was made on February 4, 2021, by the Minister of Health of the Algerian Government, who qualified this project as a national reference center of oncological treatments.

It should be noted that the technical and operational success of this work was the result of taking advantage of local skills, combined with the know-how of Algerian subcontractors in special installations with the technical and organizational management skills of Grupo NOV’s expatriate and local staff in Algeria.
