NOV Engenharia e Construções in Angola certified by ISO 9001:2015

The certification process for NOV Engenharia e Construções in Angola began in 2019, with the implementation and review of the organization's existing methodologies to meet the requirements of NP EN ISO 9001:2015.

The certification audit, first phase and second phase, initially scheduled for late February 2019 and early march 2020, respectively, was only possible to be carried out in March 2021, remotely, due to the pandemic situation instigated by Covid-19. 19. The audit lasted a total of 8 days and involved a team of 2 auditors.

However, of the almost 6,000 km that separated the audit team from the audited team, the audit took place in an atmosphere of cordiality and cooperation between both parties, during which the company demonstrated its technical and organizational capacity, human resources and physical resources needed to complete this step successfully.

Once the audit was concluded, an opportunity for improvement and a minor non-compliance were identified, whose treatment and corrective actions were submitted within a period of three days after the Audit Report was sent.

The audit team highlighted in the report the “Welcoming of the audit team by the organization's managers, as well as the cooperation of all auditees throughout the audit, which greatly contributed to the fulfillment of the objectives established in the audit plan”.

Once the initial certification stage is completed, the first follow-up audit should take place by the end of the first quarter of 2022.
