Improvement of the A1 Motorway counts with Viamarca's services

The contract for «Improvement/Strengthening of the Pavement, on the Subsection Torres Novas (A1/A23) / Fátima, on the A1 - North Highway» counted with the services of the company Viamarca, of Grupo NOV Indústria.
The contract for «Improvement/Strengthening of the Pavement, on the Torres Novas subsection. (A1/A23) / Fátima, on the A1 - North Highway» aimed at improving the surface of the pavement on the A1 Highway, between Torres Novas and Fátima, in both directions.
The horizontal signs works took place over two weeks and were the responsibility of Viamarca, a company of Grupo NOV Indústria dedicated to the production of vertical and horizontal signs and the execution of road markings.
The main works in this contract, worth around 160 thousand euros, focused on mechanical painting in the execution of longitudinal marks through the application of hot thermoplastic paint and spray paint on the lines of axles and guides in a total of lines of 53 kilometers, and also the application of a Toothed Guide in the white color of “Sound Effect” in about 81 kilometers.
Regarding manual painting, several lanes, arrows and “Cat´s Eye” type markers were applied to reinforce the visibility of the markings on the A1 motorway.
The safety of the work in question was ensured through the mobilization of mobile and fixed kits to support the paintings.
