Eurosol Hotels promote volunteer action in Pinhal de Leiria and visit trees planted in 2018 | NOV Group

After the devastating fires that occurred in 2017 in Pinhal de Leiria and Serra da Estrela, Eurosol Hotels promoted in 2018, with the support of ICNF – Institute for the Conservation of Nature and Forests, an action to plant trees of some species, mainly of pine trees. The action had the contribution of partners, customers and employees who supported the planting of 13,000 trees, distributed between Pinhal de Leiria and Serra da Estrela – Mondeguinho.

On Tree Day, March 21, 2023, following up on the action started in 2018, Eurosol Hotels promoted a visit to the planted trees. Allied to this visit, there was also a volunteer action related to the control of Acacias, in Lagoa da Ervedeira, since it is a very aggressive invasive species.

After the work carried out, under the guidance of ICNF technicians, the team participated in a picnic offered by Eurosol Hotels to replenish energy and prolong the interaction between fellow participants. This activity allowed employees to have some time to relax, in addition to making their contribution to the environment.

The interest in participating in campaigns such as this one relates, on the one hand, to the social and environmental responsibility of the Eurosol Hotels and Grupo NOV and, on the other hand, with the aim of strengthening internal cooperation and teamwork, provided a moment of relaxation for all involved.
